Installation

The SoundBlocker Luminaire Covers have been developed to provide maximum sound and fire protection for ceilings where tiles have been replaced with light fittings.

The covers have been designed to allow for ease of fitting.

They are self locating and impossible to fit incorrectly.

They incorporate ventilation slots to reduce heat from building up above the light fitting.

The mass of the covers make them efficient sound barriers/absorbers as well

as providing additional insulation that will protect the ceiling void reducing the possibility of ignition of accumulated dust that can gather above suspended ceilings. The covers are unaffected by moisture and are non-toxic.

With the cover in place, the lighting can be installed as normal and NoiseStopper Pads installed on top to complete the soundproofing of the ceiling using NoiseStopper Pads on top of the Luminaire Covers and tiles throughout.
