Airborne Sound Insulation

The table below represent a comparison of the airborne sound insulation offered by the wall lining as tested on a masonry wall. The tests were carried out on a 98mm Cement blockwork wall, mass per unit area of 97kg/m2. The test sample consisted of the QuietPanel installed using knock in screws on one side of the wall only and sealed at joins with Gyproc sealant. Tests were carried out by the University of Salford on the 8th January 2007, Test Report No. AT/08/01. Tests undertaken in accordance with ISO 140-3.
