The Acoustic Cradle floating floor system is designed to reduce sound transmission through concrete and Timber floors. It is an easy to install system that allows easy installation of services beneath the floor without losing any of its soundproofing properties.

The Acoustic Cradle system is designed to reduce sound transmission through concrete or timber floors and meets Robust Details E-FC-1 or E-FS-1
Cradles consists of a 10mm very effective layer of resilient chipfoam bonded to an injection moulded plastic cradle. When installed as part of a complete separating floor construction this system enables a concrete floor to meet the sound transmission standards of ADE 2003 (amended 2004).
APPLICATIONS
To be used over level or uneven concrete floors for conversions, refurbishments, change of use or new build.

Treated floor meets with the descriptive FFT2, typically within Robust Details E-FC-1 or E-FS-1. Two typical alternative constructions are shown.
